Being offered is a fine circa 1950 MARGOT DE TAXCO, MEXICO sterling silver & enamel necklace and screw back earrings, hand wrought; the necklace consists of a central pendant that measures 2 5/8 inches long and 1 1/4 inches height. The necklace also consists of 2 mirror image designs of overlapping sterling silver scroll flourishes that are inlaid with black and a goldish-yellow enamel. It is Design #5533 and is signed and fully hallmarked (see markings as illustrated in photo below).

There are rectangular silver links with black and goldish-yellow enamel inlay on either side of the center pendant. The clasp is a tongue and box closure. The matching sterling screwback earrings are made in the same design as the central pendant, dangle from a silver element that is designed like the links of the necklace, and, both are inlaid with black and goldish yellow champleve enamel.
