MIGUEL MELENDEZ - Modernist sapphire and sterling silver statement necklace - featuring 17 purple prong set oval cut sapphires (approximately 41.31 total carats - each 9.0 x 8.0 x 4.5 mm.) - original tongue and groove closure with button release - signed on the back - Mexico (Taxco) - circa 1970's.
Excellent vintage condition - all original - minor surface scratches to the silver - tarnishing - no loss - no damage - no repairs - minor signs of age and use - ready to wear.
