About the Item

A stunning 4.05 carat nephrite jade and 1.82 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold and 18 karat white gold set pendant; part of our diverse gemstone jewelry collections This stunning, fine and impressive vintage jade pendant has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with an 18k white gold setting. The pendant is ornamented with a feature 18k yellow gold collet set 4.05 ct Nephrite* jade cabochon. The jade cabochon is flanked to the upper border with an 18k white gold collet set 1.14 ct modern brilliant round cut diamond. Two smaller 0.34 ct modern brilliant round cut diamonds are 18k white gold collet set to either side of the central diamond. The pendant suspends from an 18k yellow gold curb chain, which threads through an integrate ring loop to the reverse of the diamond setting. The chain secures with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening. The pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold. This vintage 1980's jade pendant is supplied with three independent diamond grading certificates for the diamonds in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the nephrite jade. NOTE* Jade may either be jadeite or nephrite. These two minerals have different physical and chemical characteristics, yet can look quite similar. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
