MULTI GEMSTONE NECKLACE Amethyst, Aquamarine Quartz 18 K White Gold Necklace

About the Item

This unique multi gemstone necklace is strung with naturalistic beads of variously finished gemstones in soft, complimentary colours. The necklace features two aquamarine pieces, one amethyst piece, a clear rock crystal and a rose quartz. The beads are simply drilled and hung on a 3 strand 18 Karat white gold cable. All of the stones can be removed and so the necklace can be reconfigured to suit changing moods or outfits. The aquamarine and rose quartz have been smooth tumbled so are smooth and tactile with a matt finish. The amethyst is faceted and polished and the rock crystal rough sculpted to produce a shiny crystalline finish. Made by hand in our family run Northern Irish jewellery workshop. Inspired by the timeless simplicity of a family heirloom, we established our stone carving and jewellery making studio in 2009. We create pieces of timeless quality with a simple uncluttered aesthetic, capturing the alchemy of our hand selected gem and semi precious stones. The necklace has a smooth silky matt finish of 18 Karat white gold. Made with 3 strands each strand being 0.8mm in diameter About the stones: Amethyst is regarded to have many symbolic meanings which extend far back in history. It is the birthstone for February birthdays, and is believed to be a talisman of success, help with creative endeavours and focus the mind Aquamarine is named after after the ocean waters and it is said to calm waves and keep sailors safe at sea. It is the birthstone for those born in March. Rock Crystal is pure quartz, and is colourless and transparent or translucent. It also occurs in many coloured varieties (citrine, amethyst etc) Rose quartz is a coloured variety of quartz, and is said to be the stone of the heart; a crystal of unconditional love. Please note that this item is made to order . We are able to supply it on a longer chain than pictured (up to 45cm length for the same price as this item, and we can quote for longer lengths on request) The chain photographed measures 42cm long.
