About

Ravishing colours of turquoise, raspberry, clear and deep peridot are scattered over six graduated rows of this elegant necklace from Coppola e Toppo from the 1950s.
Of varying cut and size, they are spread through out the necklace, in a non symmetrical pattern, the terminals at the back of the necklace are also encrusted with these coloured beads in Coppola e Toppo's signature clasp design.
Bruno and Lyda Coppola created magnificent and highly distinctive jewellery from their workshops in Milan, from the late 1940s, continuing successfully until the mid Seventies. Highly successful in their own right, both in Europe and in particular the USA, with their own lines, they designed many pieces for the haute couture designers such as Elsa Schiaparelli, Valentino, Pucci, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Ken Scott and Roberta di Camerino.
