About the Item
Circa 1980s, 18k, by Seidengang, New York. This 18k yellow gold necklace by Carolyn Seiden and Carol Gang explores the mythos of the ancient world. Its rough-hewn and die-stamped center ornament features a pair of dancers set with diamonds and festooned with a single pearl. The profuse four strand necklace is set with vibrant tourmalines, iolites, and amethyst. Known for their revival of archeological style, quality workmanship, and fashion-forward designs, Seidengang pieces seamlessly mix the old and the new worlds. Finely fashioned, and part of their "Athenic" collection it is in excellent condition.
