About the Item

Four Cleopatra Necklaces handcrafted in Idar-Oberstein Germany by acclaimed master metalsmith and jewelry designer Erich Zimmermann. Each Necklace features dozens of individual handmade and matte-finished sterling silver cylindrical elements separated by assorted gemstones including white pearl, chrysoprase, rock crystal, and carnelian. The necklaces have easy-to-operate push and twist locking closures and each is stamped and hallmarked. While each necklace is available for sale individually, I sell these as a group because of the spectacular versatility offered by the addition of each strand. As illustrated in the accompanying photos, the necklaces can be worn in near-endless combinations. You could wear one of the four one evening to an informal affair where you're looking for a minimal and understated modern 17" necklace to add some understated personality to your outfit (image 2). The next day, link two (image 3), three, or all four flexible necklaces together and double wrap them for a more casual long necklace that can be worn everyday (images 4 and 5). Going to a formal event that evening where you need to wear something that will make you truly stand out from the crowd? These aren't called "Cleopatra" necklaces for nothing! Wrap two (image 6), three, or all four of the individual necklaces around each other multiple times and watch heads turn with this modern take on ancient Egyptian jewelry (image 7).
