Morganite is believed to bring healing, compassion and promise to those who wear it. Morganite opens wearers to unconditional love while dissolving ego. Though not an actual birthstone, morganite is said to be an excellent stone for the zodiac signs of Pisces, Taurus and Cancer.
Morganite is a 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale of hardness. This makes a morganite engagement ring suitable for everyday wear, although it is not as durable as harder gems like diamond or ruby and sapphire.
Morganite is said to bring healing and compassion to its wearers. This gentle pink variety of Beryl is used to obtain a higher, divine love into the life of the ones who bear it. It may also enhance and deepen an existing love or attract one's soul mate.
Morganite rates a 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs hardness scale. Heat exposure is not recommended for morganite, but under light exposure, its color is stable and won't fade. Morganite can be attacked by hydrofluoric acid. Warm, soapy water is always a safe cleaning method for morganite.
