This Fig necklace pendant with the cabochon smoky quartz is made of 14 karat yellow gold. The gem drop in cognac colour is open for the light This collection was featured in Vogue UA.
The idea to create her favourite fruits as a jewellery collection came to the artist from Berlin, Polya Medvedeva, while she was reviewing the fragrances with the sweet and fresh notes of fig. The collection become the mascot for everyone, who adores fragrances or sunny places, where this fruit grows. The design of this shining gold fig makes the piece a contemporary jewellery item, while the simplicity of the lines and the big dark gem make the item a little grungy.
Fig is an equivalent of the bible forbidden apples, the fig leaves are the only clothes for the first humans in the garden of paradise. Fig is one of the sacred trees in the ancient myths.

Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
