Fourteen Karat Yellow Gold Modern Blossom Pendant Necklace with Diamonds
About the Item
This 14 karat yellow gold Plum Blossom pendant necklace is encrusted with five round diamonds and features a cabochon amethyst drop. The contemporary jewelry collection has been featured in a review by Vogue UA. We use top natural diamonds of VS clarity and F-G color, and work with a German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
The unique sculptural design adds extra highlights to the surface of the gold, making the light play brighter. The diamonds bring delicate blinks, and the cabochon drop allows light to shine through.
This pendant is custom hand made. You can contact the artist to order this piece in white, rose, or black gold, and choose a different gem, such as topaz, garnet, quartz, or citrine. This jewelry collection was designed by Berlin-based painter Polya Medvedeva.
The plum blossom symbolizes the energy of life, as these trees bloom very early at the end of winter.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
