About the Item
This Celestial Dancer Devata pendant necklace is made of 18 karat yellow gold and sterling silver with a cushion mandarin red spessartine weighing 3.1 carats, a pear-cut Malaya garnet weighing 1.1 carats, and 7 small diamonds. The goddess is crafted from sterling silver, and the pendant is made of 18 karat yellow gold.
It was designed by the painter Polya Medvedeva based in Berlin, continuing her tradition of religious inspiration. Medvedeva's jewelry designs are often based on Chinese and Japanese theories of art and frequently incorporate elements of traditional paintings translated into precious metals and gems.

Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
