About the Item
Lovingly crafted in 18 carat yellow gold is this enchanting vintage pendant with an alluring 9.6 carat solid carved Opal taking centre stage, and carefully set in a fine four claw setting. She has an ornate free form border beset with sparkling diamonds. This endearing piece we have named The Piper Pendant. The Piper Pendant displays bright abundant flashes of green, orange, yellow, blue and violet play of colour. Just like snowflakes, you will never find two opals the same. The Piper Pendant is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of heirloom jewellery.

The Piper Pendant and Brooch Details
The solid Australian opal is estimated to weight 9.6 carats and measures approximately 1.37x0.50 inches or 35x15 millimetres with an average depth of 0.18 inches or 4.6 millimetres. The opal displays bright abundant flashes of green, orange, yellow, blue and violet play of colour. The opal has been seemingly carved to disguise the couple of slight surface reaching fractures. Not only a clever design, but a uniquely beautiful idea.
The round brilliant cut diamonds total approximately 0.26 carats and have the gradings G to H colour and SI clarity
