About the Item
This one of a kind pendant is imagined and sculpted by hand by the French jeweller artist Binliang Alexander Peng.
This pendant is composed of yellow sapphires, green sapphires and baby pink Rubellite set in 11 grams of 18k gold and 17.5 grams of silver
"He is a traveling spirit, he is a cherub who lives in the water in the form of Hermit Crab.
It brings protection and purification wherever it goes.
From a very young age, I have always been fascinated by all kinds of myths and legends, so I told myself that I too wanted to create my own heroes and characters.
In my mother culture, there are Spirits everywhere in Nature and in my adoptive culture these spirits have the features of Man with a pair of wings.
As I love the Cultures in which I grew up, naturally, they nourish, every moment, my universe and inspire my imagination."

Binliang Alexander Peng
I am a French Artist Jeweller based in Paris. In my workshop, I work with gold (18k), silver, and gems. All pieces are unique and hand made by myself. My inspiration comes from day-to-day life. My childhood has also a big place in my work. I attended the School of Fine Arts in Lyon after a class preparatory.
I then started to make paintings, sculptures, and photographs. It is also at this time that I began to make jewelry as an autodidact for my pleasure because I could not find jewelers making unisex pieces to my liking.
j'ai également étudié à la Haute École de Joaillerie et à l'École Boulle. My childhood has a big place in my creative process. I grew up in two very different cultures (French and Chinese). They are the bases of my vision of the world. My inspiration can be a stone, a poem, a dish, a feeling, an exchange, or an encounter...
