About the Item

This antique Victorian 9ct gold watch key seal fob makes for a fantastic pendant or the perfect addition to your favourite Albert chain. The Victorians had a great way of turning functional objects into things of beauty and this watch key fob is a perfect example of this! The key, designed to wind a pocket watch, can be folded away to keep it protected and clicks into place when you want to use it, it has a decorative 9ct gold mount and a circular shaped fob and a chain link arch. It is set with a gorgeous deep green bloodstone with plenty of red flecks and on the opposite side a rich red carnelian. Marks and era: Stamped for 10ct gold late Victorian era c1890's. Condition: Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some wear to the actual key part with steel showing through, the key does not click into place when open but does when closed, some light surface wear to the stones Approx measurements: 2" length extended 1.6" length 0.60" width at the widest point Weighs approx 6.95 grams Any questions or queries please contact us.
