Antique Book Chain Necklace
Sterling Silver
Circa 1880
A fabulous, Victorian silver book chain. Lovely, wide silver links with cut out detailing- joined by a large bolt ring clasp. Suspended from this, a beautiful, oval silver locket. Beautifully decorated with a lovely stork amongst the reeds & a palm tree.
Can be worn in multiple ways & lengths.
Chain on it’s own measures approximately 18 1/2 Inches in length.
The additional links can be added to lengthen to a maximum of 20 1/4 Inches.
The link width is approximately 19mm
Locket height 62mm & width 36.5mm (inc bail)
