Antique Victorian 18K Aquamarine and Ruby Initial "B" Pendant
About the Item
Aquamarine's name is derived from the Latin words "aqua" and "marina," meaning water of the sea. This table of this dramatic 40 carat watery baby blue aquamarine is overlaid with a sinuous golden plaque with the initial "B" lined with raspberry red rubies. The aquamarine is is securely held by ruby tipped prongs that rest on a delicately hand chased leaf border surrounded by glossy black enamel contained in a twisted rope border.
