Art Deco 1930 European Spherical Watch Pendant In 18Kt Gold With Gradated Pearls

About the Item

European spherical pendant watch with Pearls. An exceptional and beautiful watch-pendant from the early art deco period, circa 1930. Surely is an unique one-of-a-kind piece crafted in Europe in solid 18 karats yellow gold. It is suited, with a movable bale of 10 mm to fit into a chain or a chest-brooch fob. The entire surface is fully covered with gradated round (0.25-3 mm) half white pearls, creating a geometric pattern similar to the Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome. The mechanical winding movement is swiss made, with white porcelain dial with a black and red Arabic numerals and an optical bombe loupe glass. To wing the clock movement, only needs to rotate the sphere from the middle point, from left to right. The hours are adjusted, with a highly discreet button placed at 12 pm on the dial. This piece have a total weight of 29.5 grams and a measures of 24 mm by 40 mm (0.95 x 1.57 inches). Collateral: It is in great condition and the movement is perfectly running. Is not water proof or shock resistant. The chain is not included, just for picture purpose. It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this watch is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings.
