Art Deco Style Pendant Necklace with Sky Blue Chalcedony Featured in Vogue
About the Item
This designer pendant necklace is made of sterling silver with a beautiful 15x15x3 mm sky blue chalcedony that glows. The design has an art deco reference but looks contemporary, created by artist Polya Medvedeva for the Ink collection, which was featured in Harper's Bazaar and Vogue UA.
The blue chalcedony is open to the light and touches the skin, making it great for those interested in Ayurveda. The blue tone is perfect for spring trends and pairs well with pastel-colored clothing and cashmere. It suits different appearances: blonde or dark hair, blue and brown eyes, and sun-touched skin.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
