Contemporary 18 Karat Gold Pearl and Midnight Sapphire Diamond Frog Pendant
About the Item
This lovely pendant is made of a large white Australian pearl which has been made into a leaping frog's body. The head and legs of the frog are set with gorgeous, midnight-blue sapphires while white diamonds create the lovely bright eyes of the frog.
Masterfully created entirely by hand, the pendant has an 18-karat white gold base and is hung from a diamond-set bale (clasp), which opens with a 1-centimetre hinge to easily add the pendant to any style of chain or necklace, including most strings of pearls. The pearl weighs 25.70 carats, the pendant's total length is about 5 centimetres. It weighs 14.4 grams.
Part jewel, part objet d'art, the necklace was inspired by and made directly from the brilliance and wonder of the natural world. This pendant's visual harmony is a conversation starter; it is singular, imaginative and delightful.

The FANCS V workshop is situated in the heart of Sicily's capital city, Palermo. The jeweller is a three-generation Sicilian family business owned and run by Simona Elia and her husband Natale Vitale. Created by Natale's grandfather, FANCS V has grown from a goldsmith shop into a design studio where Simona, who trained in Milan, contributes signature collections to complement the custom pieces Natale produces for a dedicated client base.
