18 karat yellow gold designer pendant necklace with a detachable freshwater baroque pearl and a round diamond. The Fig collection was featured in a review in Vogue UA.
While pearls and diamonds are classic ingredients in any jewelry collection, it is the baroque-shaped pearls that are the chameleons that can be both classy with a black dress and fashionable with jeans. The golden fig above the pearl adds an artistic touch (the collection is designed by Berlin-based oil painter Polya Medvedeva), and the diamond on top finishes the pendant, making it an evening cocktail charm.
Fig is one of the sacred trees in ancient myths.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
