Bubble octopus charm
About the Item
This octopus was hand-carved in wax using the ancient craft of last wax, then cast in Sterling silver, after which the two parts were joined together. Next, the piece was polished, the large white diamond eyes were set, and the entire octopus was black rhodium-plated, maintaining the glossy silver on the bumps.
This octopus floats in the air as if swimming gracefully through ocean water. His tentacles come together at the base, like a budding flower.
