About the Item
Part jewel, part objet d'art, this pendant was inspired by and made directly from the brilliance and wonder of the natural world. A large, real orchid flower, crystallized at its most glorious moment for eternity hosts a black and white diamond-set dragonfly and a large and luminous cultured freshwater pearl.
The orchid measures 7.5 cm wide and tall. The colour ranges from butter yellow and warm mauve to a regal purple at the edges of the petals. A diamond-set clasp, which opens wide enough to add this pendant to most necklaces, including many strands of pearls, is made from 925 silver.

The FANCS V workshop is situated in the heart of Sicily's capital city, Palermo. The jeweller is a three-generation Sicilian family business owned and run by Simona Elia and her husband Natale Vitale. Created by Natale's grandfather, FANCS V has grown from a goldsmith shop into a design studio where Simona, who trained in Milan, contributes signature collections to complement the custom pieces Natale produces for a dedicated client base. For FANCS V, happiness is defined by the moment you receive your jewel and fall in love with it.
