Exquisite 17 Carat Pink Morganite and Diamond Pendant Necklace in 18K White Gold

About the Item

Exquisite 17.03 carat total weight pear shaped brilliant cut pink morganite and diamond pendant is talon prong set in 18 karat white gold above a mesmerizing three layer pear shaped diamond halo of round brilliant diamonds set in between a repetitive pattern of openwork set diamonds. The pendant is connected to a pear shaped diamond encrusted bail. Pendant hangs from an 18" long 18 karat white gold chain with a lobster clasp. Pink is the most valuable and sought after color in Morganites. So incredibly stunning in real life - looks like a huge pink diamond! Note: Matching Earrings shown in photo are being sold separately in separate listing. Pink Morganite was known as Pink Beryl until 1911. It is also known as Pink Emerald. It was the chief gemologist at Tiffany & Company who made the suggestion to rename it Morganite as a way of honoring gem collector and legendary famous financier J.P. Morgan. Morganite is symbolic of compassion, healing and promise. Pink Morganite measures approximately 21.32 mm long x 11 mm wide and weighs 9.53 carats. 150 round brilliant diamonds vary in size and have an approximate total weight of 7.50 carats. The total combined carat weight of the pendant is approximately 17.03 carats. Face of pendant measures approximately 60.90 mm long x 27.73 mm wide x 11.18 mm deep. Diamonds are VS to SI in clarity and G in color. Pendant hallmarked 750 and 18K. Chain hallmarked 18K Italy. Weighs 17.6 grams Note: The matching earrings shown in photo are sold separately.
