French Victorian turquoise pearl and gold pendant circa 1890. Designed as a pendant with a vertical course of four square-cut turquoise cabochons, breaking into an open circle of round pearls, edged by a circle of small gold beads to a graduating, scalloped border decorated with delicate and scrolling filigree work, fringed by five long baton links, graduating outwardly from the center, each terminating with a small round cabochon turquoise, suspended from the surmount set with a single round turquoise cabochon, mounted in 18-karat gold, accompanied by a delicate 18-karat gold cable link chain.
