About the Item
This is a stunning Sterling Silver pendant by Henryk Winograd featuring a gorgeous deep repousse image of a Japanese Geisha with her fan adorned with a flying crane, flowers and stunning hair adornments. The pendant is in the gorgeous nature inspired imagery of the Art Nouveau period.
Henryk Winograd was a leader in America in the art of Repousse. He used sheets of fine silver and hand crafted sharp, high relief designs. His work is highly collectible.
The pendant measures 2 inches high (52 mm) not including the bails, and is 1 1/2 inches (43mm) wide. The bail measures 1/4 inches.
The pendant weighs 24 grams. The listing is only for the pendant. The chain is only shown for display.
The pendant is Marked HW 999. Winograd used almost pure 999 silver - this is purer than Sterling which is 925.
