About the Item
Pendant with rare rubelite (tourmaline) of 7.58 ct, hot pink in bright color quality, with a few natural. Liquid inclusions, double row in halo style surrounded by full-cut brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approx. 0.61 ct TW (fine white G) / VS (very small inclusions), translucent worked in 750 white gold, with large eyelet loop (5x4 mm), can be worn sporty with leather cords or classic with gold chain, approx. 31 x 19 x 8.8 mm, approx. 5.9 grams heavy, new production, great color!
About tourmaline: It is available in all price ranges, the most expensive is the Paraiba tourmaline from Brazil, followed by top gemstones from Africa and Afghanistan, which are enjoying growing popularity. Just like the Paraiba tourmaline, the other types of tourmaline will also experience an increase in price over the years, because large, flawless gemstones in top colors are rare and increasing demand is driving up carat prices I am all the more pleased to be able to use a cooperation with experienced gemologists and dealers locally in Afghanistan to buy top stones while I can (all tourmalines were bought before the Taliban takeover, there are currently no more offers). The name tourmaline comes from the Sinhalese word tura mali, which means "a mixed-colored stone." For the mineralogist, tourmalines are simply a group of silicate (borosilicate) minerals. The color nuances range from colorless, red, pink, green, yellow, blue to black. A special feature is the pleochroism, the tourmaline shows up in different colors depending on the direction you look at it and the piezoelectricity and pyroelectricity, opposite crystal ends are charged differently.
