About the Item
This amazing piece features a pear shaped Pink Tourmaline gemstone measuring 16mm x 9mm and weighing 2.29 carats. This pendant is set in 22k gold and made by hand in our workshop in Jaipur, India.
Tourmaline is known to aid in relieving stress and strengthen the immune system. The gemstone is also highly regarded in the spiritual realm and is called a “receptive stone,” which means it is soothing and calming, magnetic and spiritual, promoting meditation, wisdom, and mysticism. Believed to inspire creativity, tourmaline was used extensively as a talisman by artists and writers from the Renaissance through the Victorian Age.
Cable chain is 18" long with a lobster clasp in 14k. 18k and 22k chain is available at an additional cost.

Ico & the Bird Fine Jewelry
Ico & the Bird Fine Jewelry was founded by designer Juliana Domenico (’Ico’) Carr and inspired by her world travels, searching for the most beautiful and unique gemstones to incorporate into her designs. Gemstones have always been a passion for the designer. She spent the first five years of her life in Brazil, a country known for some of the worlds’ most striking and rare stones, and her earliest memories were of playing with giant, loose aquamarines in her mother’s jewelry box and arranging them into designs. Working primarily in 22k matte gold and hand-picked gemstones, Juliana works with master craftsmen from around the world employing ancient gold smithing techniques in the creation of singular pieces that will be treasured for generations. Juliana holds an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from The George Washington University. She also holds a Graduate Gemology (GG) degree from The Gemological Institute of America and Graduate Fine Arts from UCLA.
