About the Item

From the Kent Raible limited edition 'Studio Collection' we bring you The Rose Quartz Pendulum Pendant necklace enhancer. The open design gives the piece an etheric floating quality that much of Raible's work exhibits. Raible cut the Rose Quartz himself, gaining the balance of form he envisions for the piece, adding accents of white diamonds, pink sapphires and fine granulation detail. Adding to the 'floating' quality is the great spin this piece has as it swivels and moves freely from the bale. The bale opens, and securely closes, allowing you to wear it on chains, beads or pearls that may have a larger clasp, as in the image with pearls below (please note the pendant on pearl necklace is the same pendant set with rutilated smokey quartz). As the title suggests, this pendant is best worn on a longer chain, where it can swing and rotate freely. 39.46 ct. Rose Quartz 0.33 ct. total Diamonds GVS/SI 0.19 ct. total Pink Sapphires 15.5 grams 18 karat gold with fine granulation detail. The Kent Raible's ‘Studio Collection’......... Are works inspired by some of Kent's favorite one-of-a-kind pieces. They are created to be just as beautiful as his bespoke work, but by repeating the design, become more affordable. An original piece is fabricated by the artist, and is then molded and cast in 18karat gold. The castings are then finished and granulated by hand. The assembly, stone setting, chain weaving, clasp mechanisms, and finish work are done by the artist himself, and his personally trained goldsmiths. Each limited edition piece, although beginning from the same mold is slightly different; varied stones, granule patterns and other touches make each piece unique. All work is handmade in the USA. Unlike much “designer” jewelry made today, all jewelry work is done under Kent's direct supervision, with the majority of pieces made entirely by his hand. Beginning with the artist's vision and his sketch, every aspect of the work is done in his studio: alloying the metals, pouring ingots from molten gold, then rolling and drawing the sheet and wire stock used in fabrication, making of granules and small parts used to produce each of Kent's fabulously intricate pieces.
