Late 19th Century Gold and Pearls Necklace and Pendant
About the Item
A lovely example of a 19th century piece of jewelry dating circa 1860. This delicate antique Necklace with a pendant Brooch are finely made in 15 karat Yellow Gold with exquisite extra details encompassed. The Necklace and the pendant Brooch are adorned with numerous small pearls of different sizes, the front part and the pendant feature a floral and ivy leaves motif , all inlaid with pearls. The pendant brooch has a curved disegn creating an illusion of depth and dimension and giving it visual interest. The eyelet on top can be taken off the pendant, so it can be worn as a brooch and, accordingly, the Necklace can be made shorter or longer, depending on the occasion for which it is worn. The pearls have a beautiful lustre with no loss of nacre
