Lifetime Collection Antique Charm (Bracelet) Necklace
About the Item
An incredible lifetime collection of antique charms fashioned as a necklace.
Comprised of over 90 charms suspended from interlinked antique gold-filled watch chains.
This necklace and its charms were assembled over decades by a long time antiques dealer at the Brimfield Antiques Show.
Assiduously acquired over decades, these charms amassed into a remarkable collection. In her later years, collectors would see her wearing this prized necklace while selling her own antiques. We acquired this necklace from her at her retirement show.
Simply a wonderful Maximalist, eclectic group of charms assembled by a cultivated eye!
Without one of the mother of pearl horse charms as pictured (the attached bail became detached and we have yet to have it fixed).

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
Currently lacking one of the mother of pearl horse charms as pictured (the attached bail became detached and we have yet to have it fixed).
There is some rubbing to the gold and edge wear throughout. The nut compass is cracked, some charms have significant wear (primarily the softer bodied ones), and there are light dings & indentations throughout. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.

Marked throughout for various makers to some charms. Many unmarked.
