About the Item
This lovely example of Danish silver jewellery is fully signed N.E.From in impressed script on the reverse of the pendant. Danish jeweller and silversmith Niels Erik From ( N.E. From) was born in 1908 and opened his first workshop in 1931. I was made in the early 1960's out of sterling silver. A fine dark orange amber cabochon, closed at the back, is set in an elaborate silver mount decorated with open work flowers, leaves and enhanced with silver balls.
The diameter of the amber cabochon measures 2.3 cm ca.
