About vitreuos enamels:
The inimitably luminous colors are literally created "in the fire": layer after layer of enamel is carefully fired at 800 degrees. During guilloching, the finest wave patterns are engraved on gold, creating a unique depth effect. The rare techniques have been passed down from generation to generation since the company's founding.
About paillons:
A special feature are the stars made of 18kt yellow gold. This so-called paillon is stamped with historical tools like a miniature coin and melted into the enamel. VICTOR MAYER is probably one of the last manufacturers to master this process.
