Renaissance Revival Antique French Locket Pendant
About the Item
France, circa 1880s This ornate 18K gold locket pendant is designed in the Renaissance Revival style. The front is centered with a reddish orange citrine (10 x 6.7 x 4.4 mm) framed by a silver wreath embellished with rose cut diamonds. The interior is fitted with two miniature picture frames. Marked on the back cover and bezel with eagle’s head French assay mark for 750 gold standard (18K). Total length with bail is 62 mm (2 3/8 in.) Width is 34 mm (1 1/4 in.) Weight is 14.83 grams. Sold without chain.
