Victorian 1.00ct Burmese Ruby and Diamond Necklace, c.1880s
About the Item
A deep red old cushion cut ruby is the centre of this gorgeous Victorian pendant. It is a 1.00 carat, and has been certified by the Gem and Pearl Laboratory as natural, unheated, and of Burmese origin. A halo of 9 old cut diamonds surrounds the ruby. They are G colour and VS clarity, and total to 0.90 carat. The gemstones are held in 18 carat yellow gold claws, and is on an 18 inch chain. This stunning necklace was made completely by hand in the 1880s.
