Victorian amethyst old mine-cut diamonds silver and gold pendant circa 1890.
DETAILS:
DIAMONDS: twenty-eight old mine-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.90 carat, approximately I – K color and SI – I clarity.
GEMSTONES: two amethyst, one oval; the other pear-shaped.
METAL: 18-karat yellow gold and silver.
MEASUREMENTS: pendant approximately 2-1/8” (5.39 cm) long including the bail and 15/16” wide overall.
CHAIN: 14-karat yellow gold, 16” long overall.
CONDITION: high magnification photographs show design details and that the item is in pristine condition consistent with age and wear.
