THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 19 INCH ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BELLE EPOQUE BOHEMIAN GARNET NECKLACE WITH FLOWER FLORETS IN THE CHAIN OF SUPERB DEEP RED WINE GARNETS WITH A FLOWER MOTIF CLASP OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY DATING TO CIRCA 1850-1880. THE NECKLACE IS MAGNIFICENT.
This is a stunning garnet necklace. It has a beautiful flower medallion motif with a flower motif clasp. The garnets are of the most gorgeous deep red color and they are vibrant magical gems! The chain is fully made of floral medallions with clusters of faceted round and marquise shape garnets in each flower. The magnificent necklace has a garnet clasp which we all just love.
The necklace is in wonderful condition and all garnets are original to the piece.
The necklace is 19 inches long.
The center flower is pendant is 1 inch (26 mm) wide.
The smallest flowers are 11mm wide.
The Bohemian Garnets are set in Silver Gilt as was the custom of the period.
