A beautiful, Vintage Bergere Seashell Necklace. Crafted in gold plated metal. Featuring a finely detailed seashell pendant and a lovely belcher style chain with a hook clasp. Created by Bergere in 1975. Bergere were a New York company, known for their quality jewels and beautiful styles. They were in business from 1947 until 1979. This is one of the pieces in their 'Inspired By The Sea' Collection - we also tracked down the original advert for the collection published in Vogue magazine. The necklace is in very good vintage condition, signed, 60cms chain and 5cm long pendant. A fabulous piece of original 1970s summertime jewellery that is easy to wear and remains so very stylish.
