GALANOS Signed Tag, Metal Stamp
Length - 32 inches total, 16 inch when worn
Each end of necklace is finished with a perfect knot that you can tie around your neck at any length you wish
Could also be worn as a belt
Beads and rope are in great vintage condition
Rope is in comfortable, soft, pliable, condition, not brittle or frail
Tag has some tarnishing
Galanos often used costume jewelry in his runway shows that he would attach his label to.
This piece could be attributed to Roger Scemema, who designed jewelry for Jacques Fath, Balmain, Schiaparelli, Lanvin, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent. Scemema did similar resin beads for YSL and resin pieces for Charles Jourdan.
