About the Item
Antique sterling silver postal scale by Gorham, circa 1904.
This antique postal scale features a repousse floral pattern domed scale on a wooden base with a small rectangular platform also adorned in a repousse pattern, screw calibrator. Shipping options on the scale include "papers," "books," "mdse," "letters," with "cents" underneath. Scale is not functioning.
Measures approx 3 1/2" high, 3 1/4" diameter base. The platform measures approx 1 13/16" x 1 9/16"
Weighs approx 236.5g, 152.1dwt total.
Marked lion anchor G STERLING B 2569 PATENETED 1904
Very nice condition with some scratches and tarnish, the wood base is chipped on the underside of the scale.
Will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance.
