Russian 1915 Moscow Nephrite Jade Desk Picture Frame Mounted in Gilded Silver

About the Item

Nephrite jade and gilded silver desk frame. Beautiful neo classic desk picture frame, created in Moscow Russia, back in the 1915. Carefully crafted in the Russian imperial and Louis XVI style, with solid gilded silver, translucent nephrite green jade and cedar wood. Fitted at the reverse with a hinged retractable stand and two screws to to open the back part. The glass is oval with beveled borders. Weight: 151.6 Grams, (97.18 Dwt). Measurements: 108 mm by 89 mm (4.25 x 3.5 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with Russian marks, the kokoshnik mark for the city of Moscow (Delta) and the silver assay mark for 84 zolotnik. Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this picture frame is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver.
