A fine and impressive antique 1.42 carat Basaltic sapphire and 14 karat yellow gold ring; part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive antique sapphire ring has been crafted in 14k yellow gold.
The gold solitaire ring displays an impressive twelve-claw set 1.42ct oval faceted Basaltic sapphire.
The tapering ring shoulders integrate with the claw setting, melding seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
This gemstone ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 karat gold.
This antique Edwardian sapphire ring in yellow gold is supplied with an IDGL gemstone grading report card.
NOTE: The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally accredited the sapphire originating in Basaltic deposits and verifies that the gemstone shows no indication of heat treatment.
Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
Condition
This impressive unisex dress ring is excellent quality, set with an impressive sapphire displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence.
There are some minor surface abrasions to the high points of the facets visible under magnification, in keeping with age.
The ring is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this impressive Edwardian sapphire ring in yellow gold.
