A modern take on a diamond bands “Momentos II” collection is handcrafted in 18 karats rose gold adorned with 22 HSI quality round diamonds. Conceived to be stackable and collectable as lifetime special moments token, the collection comprises four different rings: in 18 karats yellow, rose, white black and black diamonds (see profile). Worn as a standalone ring or combined, this structural but ergonomic ring, is an elegant touch as well as sophisticated. Leaning towards minimal design this unisex ring is perfect as a wedding band or as a very wearable daily accessory. In 2014 received “El Dedal de Oro” Award. The most prestigious fashion magazines and celebrities quickly recognized their special creations. Fashion designers requested their collaboration for NYFW. In 2011, Nicola Formichetti showcased TORRUBIA & TORRUBIA among everything he loved within his NY store. Based in San Sebastian and New York the sisters combine their idiosyncrasies, passion for the arts, design, sustainability, conscious consumption and nature. Their modern and sophisticated designs for men and women are the synthesis of their personalities. Amaia, graduated in Mechanical Engineering but her true vocation was the family tradition. During college, she began her formal jewelry training at the family workshop. Due to her immediate success, she launched “Amaia Torrrubia”. In 2009, Yolanda proposed to join forces and launch a Sustainable Designer Fine Jewelry line, TORRUBIA & TORRUBIA. Amaia is currently the Director of the San Sebastián Flagship/Workshop and serves as Designer/Jeweler of the brand. Yolanda received a J.D and Masters of Arts Administration degree in Spain. Her PhD dissertation in arts and law, led her to New York where she graduated from Columbia University Law School with honors as a Burton Fellow Scholar. Upon graduating, Yolanda worked with prominent fashion lawyers and designers. Currently, Yolanda lives in New York serving as the Creative Director of TORRUBIA & TORRUBIA.
