Art Deco Diamond Black Onyx Ring Edwardian Filigree 14 Karat White Gold Flower
About the Item
This is a very special Edwardian, Art Deco Ring with Black Onyx, a central Old Mine Cut Diamond and extraordinary 14 Karat White Gold filigree work across the top of the Black Onyx, around the stunning gallery and extending down the ring shank. The magnificent antique ring has a beautiful rectangular Black Onyx gem that is adorned with a filigree design across the top of the onyx creating a diaphanous stained glass effect in black and white. The scrolling filigree has a flower and leaf garland design. The onyx is further adorned with a sparkling white Old Mine Cut Diamond set in a beautiful milgrain beaded border. The setting is 10 Karat White Gold and is absolutely gorgeous. The ring has a flower motif with a flower at the top of the shank. The setting has beautiful filigree open work with engraved details throughout including throughout the fabulous raised gallery. This level of adornment in an antique onyx ring is rare and wonderful and creates a delicate, magical ring for the ages.
The top of the ring is 18 mm from North to South and 14 mm East to West. The ring sits 5mm above the finger.
