About the Item

A Ring from the distant Art- -Deco period, the band in solid 18K Yellow Gold with a bezel set oval cut natural Bi -colored Light- Blue / Purple Sapphire 7 mm x 5 mm x 3mm deep/ ca. 1 ct. This stone has peculiar inclusions and color zoning. In natural light the color is Cornflower Blue / light Blue and under artificial light color changes to light Purple. Shoulders with hand-engraved ornamental decor. Hallmarked 18K , maker's GD&Co , Malmö year combination O7 / made in Sweden in the year 1917 ; Size: Ø 8US / 18.19 mm. Sizing is possible. Weight: 1.65 grams Used fine condition. The band has minor deformations. Minor wear to the facets of the stone.
