About the Item

A stunning and impressive vintage 1.74 carat Colombian emerald and 0.80 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold, 18 karat white gold set ring; an addition to our antique jewelry collections This stunning vintage oval cut emerald and diamond ring has been crafted 18k yellow gold with 18k white gold settings. The attractive pierced decorated style mount displays a feature four, swallow tipped claw set, 1.74Ct oval cut natural Colombian emerald encircled with fourteen, well color matched transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond. The elevated, pierced decorated shoulders feature shaped 18k white gold settings ornamented with two smaller transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The shoulders are further accented with a subtle ribbed cuff at the junction with the plain 18k yellow gold shank. This 1950s emerald ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. This cluster ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold. "Rather than regarding inclusions in colored stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
