About the Item

An impressive 2.17 carat ruby and 0.56 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow gold and 18 carat white gold set dress ring; part of our diverse vintage jewellery collections. This fine and impressive ruby and diamond ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with an 18 ct white gold setting. The pierced decorated oval shaped, scalloped edged setting is ornamented with a feature 2.17 ct oval mixed cut ruby, 18 ct yellow gold claw/prong set in relief to the centre of the design. The 18 ct white gold setting is embellished with twelve bezel set modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The pierced decorated, elevated tapering ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and join the plain ring shank at a cuff design. The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French mark for 18 ct gold (eagle's head). This vintage 1950's cluster ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
