About the Item

A fine and impressive vintage French 1.02 carat natural blue sapphire and 1.13 carat diamond, 18k yellow gold, 18k white gold set dress ring; part of our vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This impressive French vintage cluster ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with an 18k white gold setting. The substantial and impressive pierced decorated frame displays a feature 1.02 Cts oval mixed cut natural blue sapphire bezel set in relief to the center. The sapphire is bordered by fourteen transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, pavé set in 18k white gold to the outer cushion shaped design. The plain, elevated, tapering pierced decorated shoulders blend seamlessly with the hallmarked plain 18k yellow gold ring shank. The exterior of the shank is hallmarked with the French eagle's head. This fine sapphire ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This French dress ring is fine quality set with an impressive natural sapphire and very high color graded old cut diamonds. The vintage sapphire cluster ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition. The French eagle's head hallmark to the exterior of the shank is worn in keeping with age but remains legible, the hallmark can be seen in the forth image.
