About the Item

A fine and impressive vintage 1.30 carat emerald and 0.65 carat, 18 karat yellow gold cocktail ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections This fine and impressive vintage emerald and diamond cluster ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The pierced decorated, elevated setting is ornamented with a feature 1.30Ct oval mixed cut emerald. The emerald is set in relief to the center of twelve surrounding claw/prong set modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The elevated, tapering ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18k gold fineness mark (0.750). "Rather than regarding inclusions in colored stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
