A stunning, fine and impressive antique and vintage 3.07 carat diamond and platinum dress / cocktail ring; part of our diverse diamond jewelry and estate jewelry collections. Video: A video of this fine piece is available upon request. This magnificent, fine and impressive diamond cluster ring has been crafted in platinum. The vintage pierced decorated setting (circa 1950) is ornamented with a feature antique 1.52 old mine cut diamond (circa 1860) bezel set in subtle relief to the center of the design. The central diamond is encircled by a further ten antique Old European cut diamonds (circa 1900), all held within millegrain decorated bezel settings. Incorporating antique diamonds and precious gemstones into jewelry was common practice in the 1940's and 1950's. The elevated tapering pierced decorated ring shoulders are accented with a subtle cuff design at the junction with the plain ring shank. This stunning diamond cocktail ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Condition This magnificent platinum and diamond cluster ring is exceptional quality set with very high color graded old cut antique diamonds.
