About the Item

This old ring has navette or boat shaped crown with White Gold / or Platinum top on solid 18K Green Gold band set with natural Diamonds and Blue Sapphires. European made, dates to ca. early XX century. Crown with stones measures 27 mm x 11 mm 3 mm deep. Largest stone is an old European diamond cut Diamond Ø 4.25 mm x 2.7 mm deep/ ca. 0.35 ct , color ca. F,G / VS . There are also 40 rose cut Diamonds of gradual diameters in this design. Total weight of Diamonds here: ca 1ctw. Two natural old diamond cut Sapphires Ø 3.5 mm x 2.3 mm deep / ca.0.25 ct each. No hallmarks. Metal of band tested solid 18K Greenish Yellow Gold. Size Ø 7.75 US / 17.97 mm. It can be sized. Weight: 4 grams. Used condition. Sapphires show minor wear to facets. All diamonds intact. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" .. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post.
